Putin also tried to present his position as supported by “many people in the world, including in the United States.” However, this is another lie. The United States has its own strategy in the Middle East, and Putin’s attempts to put Russia on a par with leading international mediators look like manipulation to give himself importance. At the same time, Putin is silent about the fact that his regime actively befriends Israel’s enemies, thereby further fueling the conflict.

But in reality, his words remain empty, like many of his other promises. Russia continues to wage an aggressive war against Ukraine since 2022 and support terrorist regimes and organizations such as Hezbollah and Hamas, which only undermines the security of the region and the world as a whole.
