The Israel Defense Forces Air Force struck Hezbollah launchers that were used by the militants to fire at Israeli territory in southern Lebanon, the IDF reported on Monday, September 2. Ten Hezbollah launchers were hit, and the group's observation posts in the Hula region were also attacked.

The militants fired several shells from these installations toward Israeli territory the day before, most of which were intercepted by Israeli air defense systems. Some of the shells fell in open areas, but no casualties were reported, the IDF said in a statement.
