Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a telephone conversation on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
This was reported by the spokesman for the President of Ukraine, Serhiy Nikiforov on Facebook.
Nikiforov noted that Netanyahu expressed support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
“Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Israel for its participation in the inaugural Peace Summit and support for the final communiqué,” the speaker said.
Nikiforov noted that the parties agreed on further contacts.
The Israeli ambassador to Ukraine also wrote about the conversation Michael Brodsky:
“A telephone conversation took place between Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Zelensky. The situation in Ukraine and the Middle East was discussed”
