On June 13, 2025, in the city of Netanya, one of the most anticipated events of the summer will take place — “Vyshyvanka FEST”, a Ukrainian cultural festival that brings together thousands of participants every year. This year marks the third edition of the event, and each year it grows more dynamic, inclusive, and important for the Ukrainian community in Israel.

The festival will run from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Netanya Stadium, in the “Rubiz 1929” club.

How “Vyshyvanka FEST” differs from a typical festival

This is not just a concert or a craft fair.

As the organizers write:

“Third year in a row! It’s always loud, joyful, and heartwarming!

A concert of Ukrainian songs performed by Israeli singers and special guests from Ukraine, a craft fair, master classes and fun activities for children and adults, themed photo zones, warm hugs, and Ukrainian cuisine — all of this awaits you!

Vyshyvanka FEST is a holiday for the whole family! We celebrate Shavuot the Ukrainian way! Let’s come together!”

Festival program

  • Concert of Ukrainian songs performed by Israeli singers and guests from Ukraine
  • Craft market — traditional handmade items and souvenirs
  • Workshops for children and adults
  • Themed photo zones for the whole family
  • Ukrainian cuisine — borscht, dumplings, pampushky, and more

Who organizes “Vyshyvanka FEST”

Organizers: Anna Yantovskaya and the Aliyah and Integration Department of the Netanya Municipality.

“Our Ukrainian diaspora in Israel is the biggest, strongest, and friendliest. We have many amazing people, organizations, and volunteers — each doing their part, from humanitarian aid to cultural events. That’s true strength — bright, strong, and unbreakable,” says Anna Yantovskaya.

Ukrainians in Israel — bridges between cultures

The festival reflects an important trend — the strengthening of Ukrainian-Israeli relations. Tens of thousands of Israeli citizens of Ukrainian origin live in Israel, actively participating in public life, supporting Ukraine, and preserving their traditions.
