The UN Security Council will discuss the actions of the Israeli Defense Forces against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

The UN Security Council will review the IDF operation at the Kamal Adwan hospital in Gaza, where between 240 and 400 terrorists were captured.

Algeria initiated the discussion.

Israel will present its view to the UN, arguing that Hamas is using civilian targets as a shield. The IDF will continue the operation until the hostages are released.

The IDF planned to concrete the entrances to the hospital after the operation to prevent militants from infiltrating and stockpiling weapons. Patients and staff have already been evacuated to another hospital.
