The Israeli government believes that the threat from Turkey is more serious than the Iranian one

In Israel, the danger of war with Turkey is growing. This is due to Ankara's desire to restore its influence similar to the times of the Ottoman Empire, which could lead to tense relations with Israel. In addition, there is a possibility of Turkey’s cooperation with the new government of Syria, which could bring instability to the region.

The Committee emphasizes that the threat from Syria and Turkey is becoming more serious than the Iranian threat. Therefore, it is recommended to increase the defense budget and invest in new military equipment such as aircraft, drones, satellites, air defense and others.

In preparation for Israel's future, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stressed the need to be prepared for all possible changes in the Middle East. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has expressed fears that Israel could redirect the conflict to other countries in the Middle East.

Erdogan accused Israel of provocations and military operations in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon. He warned Israel against escalating the conflict and expressed readiness to confront Israel's “state terrorism.”
