In the prestigious Al-Meza area of the Syrian capital, a 4-story building was attacked just a few hundred meters from the Iranian Embassy. According to the pro-Iranian agency in Iraq, four strikes were carried out, resulting in casualties among residents. Officially, Syria blames Israel for the incident.
According to preliminary data, the target of the attack was an apartment in a residential building, where, according to media reports, representatives of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Hezbollah live.
The Syrian side is making attempts to eliminate those responsible for the attack, but their identities have not yet been established. According to the London-based human rights monitoring center, the attack killed at least 4 people who do not have Syrian citizenship.
