The Palestinian group Hamas has pleaded guilty to the terrorist attack in Tel Aviv on October 1. This information was reported by The Times of Israel. Hamas said Mohammed Mesek and Ahmed Himuni from Hebron carried out the attack and are members of the group. As a result of the terrorist attack, seven people were killed and another 16 were injured. The names of six of the victims are known: Revital Bronstein, Ilya Nozadze, Shachar Goldman, Inbar Segev Vigder, Nadya Sokolenko and Jonas Chrosis.
The Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel Yevgeny Korniychuk said that one of those wounded as a result of the terrorist attack was Ukrainian. On the evening of October 1, in the Jaffa area of Tel Aviv, unknown assailants attacked passengers at a light rail station, armed with an assault rifle and a knife. Both terrorists were killed by the police.
