Propagandists are making up stories about FOG posting a photo on social media of three men in military uniform with weapons and blue armbands posing in front of an armored vehicle in the Kursk region. The Russian Foreign Ministry, picking up on this lie, claims that the participation of the American PMC allegedly proves “the direct involvement of the United States in the conflict,” and its mercenaries are allegedly becoming a legitimate military target. They promise to conduct “investigative actions” against American citizens, whom they themselves invented.
Forward Observations Groupof course, does not comment on anything, because this whole story is a figment of the imagination of Russian propagandists. The propagandists also invent that some FOG fighters have been supporting Israel's operation in the Gaza Strip since 2023. They even claim that “mercenaries from this PMC were destroyed” in the Kursk region during the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack. State Duma member Mikhail Sheremet calls for making these fictitious mercenaries “a priority target for the Russian armed forces.”
All this is just another example of how Russian propaganda shamelessly lies, making up fairy tales and brainwashing its people.
