The Israel Defense Forces announced the elimination of Abed al-Zeriyeh, who was known as Hamas's economy minister in the Gaza Strip and ran the production department of the organization's military wing. The IDF noted that al-Zeriyeh was killed during an operation in Gaza on Sunday, August 4, 2024.
