Due to the current security situation, the Israel Home Front Command has issued the following instructions from Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 8:30 p.m. until Monday, September 23, 2024, at 6:00 p.m.:
The Northern education system is switching to distance learning via Zoom.
The Israeli Ministry of Education announced that schools in the northern part of the country, starting from Haifa and further north, will temporarily switch to distance learning via the Zoom platform. The decision was made due to the current security situation, in order to ensure the safety of students and teachers.
The new instructions apply to all educational institutions, including primary schools, secondary schools and kindergartens. Teachers and students will continue the learning process online until the situation improves.
Partial activity – Golan Heights North, Front Line, Upper Galilee, Central Galilee, Lower Galilee, Haifa Bay, Valleys, Southern Golan.
Educational activities – can be carried out in places from where a standard protected shelter can be reached in time.
Mass events and services – can be held outdoors with up to 30 people and indoors with up to 300 people. Beaches will be closed to the public.
Work locations – Work may be performed in buildings or locations where standard shelter can be reached in a timely manner.
The northern and southern Golan Heights (except for the settlements of the Jordan Valley Regional Council) and the front line must operate in accordance with the instructions of the Northern Command.
Full activity – border area with the Gaza Strip (with the exception of the settlements: Nativ HaAsara, Yad Mordechai, Zikim, Karmiya, Erez, Nir Am, Sderot, Ivim, Gavim, Or HaNer, Miflasim, Kfar Aza, Saad, Alumim , Beeri, Reim, Megen, Nirim, Kerem Shalom, Nir Oz, Kisufim, Ein HaShlosha, Sufa, Holit, Nahal Oz, Nir Yitzchak)
Educational events can be held without restrictions.
Mass events and services – can be held with up to 1000 people.
Places of work – operate without restrictions.

Each of us must be prepared and know how to act to protect our lives and the lives of our loved ones. Upon receiving a warning, you must immediately take refuge in a protected room and stay there for 10 minutes.
