Britain has suspended 30 of 350 licences to supply arms to Israel.
This information was reported by the head of the British Foreign Office David Lammy. In his opinion, the reason for the suspension was the discovery of a clear risk of using British weapons in violation of humanitarian law against Palestinians, SkyNews reports.
The government's investigation has found no evidence that the Israeli military used British weapons in a manner that violated human rights. However, the scale of destruction and deaths in Gaza have caused serious concern within the UK government.
“The UK's role in this situation must be to help build a sustainable end to the suffering,” Lammy said.
