The Israeli army has released the names of three soldiers killed in combat in the Gaza Strip. Among them were reserve staff sergeant Daniil Panchuk, 26, and reserve staff sergeant Nitai Mitudi, 23. Both were killed when an explosive device planted by Hamas terrorists exploded in a multi-story building.
Three soldiers from the Jerusalem infantry reserve unit were killed and seven others were wounded to varying degrees. The incident occurred in the Zeitoun neighborhood in the center of the Gaza Strip. The third soldier killed was reserve staff sergeant Yanik Yitzhak Oren, 35, from Kibbutz Ein Gedi.
The total number of casualties in the military operations against Hamas since the beginning of October has reached 699. The army expressed sincere condolences to the families of the fallen and continues to monitor the region.
