“On February 20, 2025, at the initiative of the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Israel, the inaugural meeting of the Forum of Pro-Ukrainian Organizations and Initiatives in Israel took place.

The meeting was opened by Ambassador Evgeny Korniychuk, who highlighted the importance of unity, coordination of efforts, and mutual support in the pro-Ukrainian community in Israel.

The event, held in a hybrid format, brought together nearly thirty representatives of public organizations, creative associations, and initiatives from different regions of the country โ€“ the Center (Tel Aviv, Bat Yam), the North (Haifa, Carmiel), and the South (Eilat, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Beer Sheva).

This meeting marked the first step toward creating a coordination mechanism that will help organizations and initiatives interact more effectively, plan events, and attract resources for joint projects.

The participants agreed to sign a Memorandum to establish the Forum and develop the organizationโ€™s regulations. To this end, a working group has been formed to draft the necessary documents.
