Since 2022, enemy drones have violated Romanian airspace at least 17 times. The Pentagon said that the interception of Russian targets from Poland and Romania is already NATO's new involvement in the conflict. Ukraine, according to Sabrina Singh, is successfully coping with the destruction and interception of Russian missiles and drones. Polish President Duda announced his country’s readiness to shoot down Russian air targets over Ukraine. Poland often scrambles its fighters during air raids, but has not yet shot down a single target. In early October, Romanian authorities discovered the wreckage of a Russian kamikaze drone in the Danube Delta.
