Another war crime that should not remain unpunished.
On February 2, 2025, Russian propaganda resources disseminated a video featuring the beheading of a Ukrainian soldier.
“To ensure the inevitability of accountability for the aggressor state, each war crime is meticulously documented, and relevant information is submitted to international legal institutions,” stated the Commissioner for Missing Persons Under Special Circumstances in Ukraine, Arthur Dobroserdov.
The National Police of Ukraine have already established the identity of the deceased and informed his relatives.
This is far from the first instance of Russian war crimes, but it stands as one of the most horrifying.

Simultaneously, the Commissioner emphasized that the registry primarily includes individuals who disappeared in active conflict zones or in occupied territories of Ukraine. It also accounts for those missing due to emergencies or natural/man-made disasters.
