The American media corporation Newsmax announced its expansion beyond the USA and is forming a new presence map in Europe and the Middle East.
This is not a test signal or a temporary project. A licensing agreement has been signed, providing for the full launch of the channel under the Newsmax Ukraine brand.
According to the plan, broadcasting should start in the first half of 2026.
What is known about the format and launch timing

The project will operate according to the editorial standards of the parent structure. The company emphasizes: it is about expanding access to alternative international content, as well as strengthening positions in Eastern Europe.
The Ukrainian audience is considered strategic. And not only because of politics but also due to the growing interest in the American domestic agenda, which directly affects regional security.
In the media environment, the launch is assessed as fast β preparatory processes are already completed, infrastructure solutions agreed upon.
Why the Trump factor is constantly mentioned here
This particular channel in the USA is traditionally called one of the most favorable to the current occupant of the White House. Donald Trump has publicly demonstrated more than once that he closely follows how his position is reflected in the media.
For the Ukrainian market, this automatically means high interest β from both supporters and critics.
Another point is added: any media signals from the USA today are instantly perceived in Kyiv, Jerusalem, and European capitals as elements of a large diplomatic game.
Where the channel already operates outside the USA
In parallel with the Ukrainian project, the company is building a network of partnerships in several countries.
In France, Newsmax joined the Free TV package and became available to approximately 3.5 million households.
In Israel, English-language broadcasting was launched through the operator HOT β it concerns more than two hundred thousand subscribers.
In Cyprus, 24-hour broadcasting is received by clients of the provider Primetel.
This international vector makes the Ukrainian launch part of a large structure, not a separate news item.

Within the USA, the network has already established itself as the fourth most popular cable news platform with an audience of over 40 million viewers. Meanwhile, global distribution covers more than a hundred countries.
