US President Donald Trump expressed the readiness of allies to intervene in the Gaza Strip situation to restore order. However, he leaves Hamas a chance to make amends.

Trump emphasized that countries ready to deploy troops should refrain from actions for now. This statement was made on his social network Truth Social.

He noted that Hamas has the opportunity to change course, but if agreements are not fulfilled, the consequences will be “swift and severe.”

Trump stated that allies in the Middle East are ready to intervene at his request if Hamas continues to violate agreements. He added that such enthusiasm for the region has not been seen for a thousand years.

In addition, the president thanked Indonesia and its leader for their support and attention to the issue.

Preceding Events

On October 9, Trump announced agreements for the release of Israeli hostages and the end of the conflict between Israel and Hamas.

On October 10, a ceasefire came into effect in Gaza. Israeli troops began withdrawing to agreed positions.

On October 13, Hamas released the last Israeli hostages, and Israel, in response, released Palestinian prisoners.

Trump noted that the hostages have returned, but the bodies of the deceased have not yet been returned, which causes his dissatisfaction.

The president also stated his intention to disarm Hamas by force if they do not do so themselves, referring to peace agreements with Israel.

The Israel Defense Forces were ordered to take action against terrorist targets after Hamas violated the ceasefire on October 19.
