Three battalions of reservists were called up in Israel.

The IDF decided to mobilize three battalions of reservists to strengthen Central Command's defenses and operational operations. Due to a possible aggravation of the situation in the Arab settlements of Judea and Samaria, additional recruitment of reservists is being carried out during the autumn Jewish holidays.

Earlier, on September 25, amid tensions on the Lebanese-Israeli border, the IDF mobilized two additional brigades of reservists. This decision was made to carry out operational tasks in the northern direction and protect the State of Israel from threats.

The military department noted that these measures will allow the continuation of the fight against the terrorist organization Hezbollah and will ensure the return of residents of northern Israel to their homes. The new recruitment of reservists is aimed at ensuring the security of the country and protecting its population.
