Youth community “Prostir” with the support of the organization “Israeli Friends of Ukraine” invites you to an unusual event.

On January 17, 2025, the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv will host a Shabbat dedicated to the theme of Aliyah – the repatriation of Jews to Israel.

This evening will not only be an opportunity for new acquaintances and pleasant communication over a delicious kosher dinner, but also an opportunity to talk about the importance of aliyah in the formation of the State of Israel.


Event program

The organizers have prepared a rich program, which includes:

  • Historical excursion. Discussion of the various waves of aliyah and their contribution to the construction and development of Israel.
  • Personal stories. Participants will be able to share their experiences of repatriation or emigration, discuss similarities and differences with previous generations of repatriates.
  • The future of aliyah. How can the younger generation influence the further development of the country?

  • Participation fee: 60 shekels (for IDF soldiers and community volunteers – 40 shekels).

Important: Participants are invited to wear festive clothes. It is also recommended to bring a drink (low or non-alcoholic) for the communal table.
