The US Secretary of State has agreed to sell $20 billion worth of weapons to Israel. The order list includes new multirole fighter jets and upgrade kits for existing aircraft.
Also ordered are aircraft and support equipment, cryptographic devices, and software development.
The total value of the deal is $18.82 billion, with deliveries to begin in 2029. Boeing will be the main contractor. In addition to fighter jets, the delivery of missiles, shells and tactical vehicles to Israel has been approved. The decision has been submitted to the US Congress for further procedures.
