The US is considering introducing an arms embargo on Israel.

The US Democratic administration announced the possible imposition of an embargo on the supply of IDF arms to Israel in the event of failure to comply with the requirements for the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. Netanyahu's government discussed the issue, and the White House clarified that the embargo could be lifted if Israel takes the necessary steps to help Gazans.

Hamas, in turn, due to increased food supplies to Gaza, refuses to exchange hostages, which leads to damage to the interests of the hostages. In early October, the US Secretary of State and Defense expressed demands for a solution to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, threatening an arms embargo if the demands were not met.
