Naim Qassem, the new leader of the radical Lebanese organization Hezbollah, made his first public speech.
He noted that the death of his predecessor Hassan Nasrallah as a result of the Israeli operation was a serious blow to the group, but it was able to quickly restore its resources and intends to continue the fight against Israel.
“My work plan is Nasrallah’s plan,” Qassem emphasized.
The leader of the organization also recalled the attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle on the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Kassem stated that “This time he survived, but it is unknown when his end will come,” hinting at a possible danger for the prime minister during one of his speeches.
