The name of the sixth Golani fighter killed in southern Lebanon can be published.

The IDF press service reported the death of the sixth soldier of the 51st battalion of the Golani brigade in southern Lebanon. It was Sergeant Yoav Daniel, just 19 years old, from Nahariya. Previously, the names of five of his comrades who also died in the same battle, including the captain and foremen, were published.

Since October 7, 2023, 793 IDF soldiers have died in terrorist attacks. This happened during Black Saturday and during the Iron Swords war effort. The fighters died both in Gaza and Lebanon, and in Israel, including Judea and Samaria. Terrorist attacks and battles took the lives of brave soldiers, among whom were the names of five dead soldiers of the Golani Brigade.

These tragic losses were a great blow to the Israeli army. Young soldiers who showed a willingness to defend their country sacrificed their lives. Their names will remain in the memory of the people, reminding them of the price of peace and freedom for Israel.
