The media reported the dispatch of US Air Force B-52H strategic bombers to the Middle East.

A pair of American B-52H strategic bombers with call signs LIVID11 and 12 are heading to the Middle East. They took off from Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota and have already passed over the Strait of Gibraltar, moving towards Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin ordered additional destroyers, fighters and bombers to be sent to the Middle East. The goal is to protect US citizens and forces, defend Israel, and de-escalate through deterrence and diplomacy. The plan is to deploy missile defense destroyers, a squadron of fighter jets, a tanker aircraft and several US Air Force B-52 long-range bombers to the region.

The third squadron of combat aircraft was deployed to the Middle East in early October. F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jets also arrived to ensure Israel's security. Their location is classified, however, according to Western media, they are located at the Muwaffaq Salti airbase in Jordan.

Currently, there are about 50 thousand American troops and dozens of combat aircraft in the Middle East. The nuclear submarine USS Georgia, capable of carrying up to 154 Tomahawk cruise missiles, as well as two guided-missile destroyers are on duty in the Red Sea area.
