A pair of American B-52H strategic bombers with call signs LIVID11 and 12 are heading to the Middle East. They took off from Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota and have already passed over the Strait of Gibraltar, moving towards Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin ordered additional destroyers, fighters and bombers to be sent to the Middle East.
