Sources indicate that Spain, Ireland, Slovenia, Iceland, and the Netherlands have already declared their intention to withdraw if Israel is present at the contest. This is causing many disputes and nuances in approaches to the issue.

Among the proposed solutions is the possibility of Israel performing under a flag designed with the logo of the Israeli broadcaster Kan. This option is suggested to ease political tension, as the criticism is directed at the government, not the organization itself. However, this compromise faces resistance from Israel, which fears that a temporary measure could become permanent.

Other proposals include a demand for a public condemnation of the actions of the military and civilian leadership by Kan, which could reduce tensions with the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).
