Israel's National Security Council has published a list of European countries that are considered relatively safe for Israeli tourists. Security for Israelis is best ensured in Eastern European countries, as well as in Switzerland, Denmark, Finland and Iceland, where there are not many Muslim populations.
Recommendations include visiting the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, Serbia, Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, Romania and Lithuania, where levels of anti-Semitic attacks are minimal. Most of these countries have direct flights from El Al.
However, according to MALAL, the terrorist threat level remains high in Germany, France, the UK, Italy and Spain. These countries are currently not recommended for Israelis to visit due to the increased risk of terrorist attacks and attacks. The safety of tourists and their protection from extremists remains one of the priorities of the Israeli authorities.
MALAL experts recommend avoiding countries with high levels of anti-Semitism and terrorist threats to minimize the risk to your personal safety when traveling abroad. When planning your travel, you should pay attention not only to the weather and attractions, but also to the political situation and the level of threat to life and health.
