The IDF press service reported that a massive attack was being prepared on Hezbollah targets in the Dahiya area. 20 multi-storey buildings were warned of possible danger and a missile attack on ground targets was expected.
As a result of military operations, it became known that Hezbollah used areas with dense civilian populations as locations for military headquarters and missile depots. Local residents became human shields for terrorists protecting ammunition delivered from Iran.
On the same day, the Israeli Air Force carried out strikes in the center of Beirut without prior warning. The Lebanese Army does not control areas inhabited by Shiites, which creates a tense situation in the region.
