The IDF continues its military operation in southern Lebanon to push Hezbollah away from Israeli borders. For this purpose, airborne troops and special forces are involved, operating in remote areas up to 10 km from the border. The action plan was presented to Defense Minister Israel Katz by the regional command.
Over the past week, more than 140 Hezbollah launch sites and at least 200 militants have been destroyed. Over the past 24 hours alone, up to 30 air strikes were carried out in the Dahiya region, where missile depots and militant headquarters were also destroyed.
In addition, the Air Force attacked the supply channels of Iranian missiles for Hezbollah from Syria to the eastern regions of Lebanon. These actions are aimed at weakening the positions and capabilities of the terrorist group. As the IDF press service emphasizes, the operation in Southern Lebanon will continue.
