Protesters blocked the Ayalon Highway for 5 hours to protest Galant's dismissal.

More than 40 protesters in Tel Aviv were detained for violating public order. Left-wing activists took to the streets to express their support for the release of Hamas hostages.

Demonstrators blocked the Ayalon Highway, throwing concrete blocks at it. The police cleared the road, but traffic stopped for 5 hours, creating a kilometer-long traffic jam.

To disperse the protesters, security forces used water cannons to restore transport links and prevent possible unrest in the city.
