Prime Minister Netanyahu is in hospital undergoing surgery to remove his prostate.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was hospitalized for surgery to remove a benign tumor on his prostate. The operation is scheduled for December 29 at Hadassah ein Karem Hospital in Jerusalem. Following the operation, Netanyahu will remain in the hospital for a limited time before being discharged home.

A week ago, Netanyahu underwent a series of tests due to inflammation of the urinary tract, as a result of which a tumor was discovered on the prostate gland. Before the operation, the Prime Minister followed a course of antibiotics to relieve inflammation. Colleagues and officials expressed their wishes for a speedy recovery and return to work.

At the moment, Netanyahu's health is assessed as stable, and a successful recovery is expected after surgery. Politicians and citizens expressed their support and wished a speedy recovery to the Israeli Prime Minister.
