Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine Michael Brodsky, in a video greeting that included views of Ukrainian and Israeli cities, emphasized that “strong human ties have been established between the countries.”

He noted that despite the distance, “we are united by a common history, a desire for peace and mutual support.”

Brodsky also thanked Ukraine for its support of Israel, which was expressed through “the blue and yellow flag in Israel and the Israeli flag in Ukraine.”
