A Likud Knesset member introduced a bill to allow Israelis to remain throughout the Gaza Strip. The explanatory note notes that the travel ban on the region is reminiscent of anti-Semitic laws from the Holocaust and must be lifted to end the war against fundamentalist Islam.
According to the deputy, the ban on entry into the Gaza Strip is associated with territories cleared of Jews, as during the Holocaust. He argues that these laws have been condemned by the Jewish people as anti-Semitic and should be repealed in the interests of freedom of movement and presence.
Therefore, the MP calls on the Knesset to repeal the laws banning entry into the Gaza Strip and other regions, giving Israelis complete freedom of movement and presence throughout Israel. He stresses the need to end the war against fundamentalist Islam and regain control of these territories.
