An IDF spokesman confirmed that the shelling of Majdal Shams was carried out from Lebanon north of the village of Shebaa, and that the terrorist organization Hezbollah was responsible. Shortly after, a Lebanese television channel affiliated with Hezbollah reported that the village had been shelled.
