Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei expressed his opinion on the elimination of Hamas leader Yahya Sinouar. He called the act “painful” for the Resistance front, but assured that the fight would continue.
Khamenei stressed that such losses had not previously led to a stop in the front's activities, and Sinouar's death would not stop them either.
In his address to the Muslim peoples and youth of the region, Khamenei paid tribute to Sinouar for his fight against Israel. The Hamas leader was hailed as the “shining face of the resistance” and was praised for his intransigence towards the enemy. Khamenei noted that the strike he struck on October 7 “went down in the history of the region.”
