In honor of the fourth anniversary of the Abraham Accords between Israel, the UAE and Bahrain, Foreign Minister Israel Katz stressed the importance of strengthening peaceful relations with other countries in the region. Since the signing of the agreements, “significant progress has been made in various areas,” which, according to Katz, “has changed the region for the better.”
Israel Katz noted that these agreements have made the world “more accessible” by weakening the outdated notion that certain conditions must be met to achieve peace and prosperity. He emphasized that joint efforts and cooperation have become key factors for a positive future for the region.
The minister also stressed that Israel remains “loyal to its partners in the region and seeks to continue cooperation based on the principles of the Abraham Accords, expanding the circle of peaceful allies.” Israel is ready to take decisive measures if the Palestinian Authority continues to act to the detriment of its interests within the UN, Katz stressed, responding to the PA’s actions and maintaining its position in the region.
