In an interview with CBS News, US Vice President Kamala Harris said that negotiations with Russia on the war in Ukraine should take place with the participation of Kyiv. She emphasized that Ukraine should be able to express its opinion regarding its future. Harris also noted that it is impossible to conduct serious negotiations without the participation of the Ukrainian side.

She categorically rejected the possibility of a meeting with Russian President Putin, arguing that without Kyiv's participation there is no point in holding bilateral negotiations.
