Israeli banks earned NIS 22.6 billion in the first half of the year

Israeli banks published financial reports for the third quarter of 2024 and reported record profits. In nine months, the “banking five” earned 22.6 billion shekels, which is 15.3% more than last year.

The third quarter ended with a profit of NIS 7.64 billion, up 30.6% from the previous period.

Since the beginning of this year, banks have paid shareholders NIS 2.5 billion in profits. These reports indicate stable growth in the financial performance of the Israeli banking system.
