Israel's Mossad intelligence agency planted a small amount of explosives in 5,000 Taiwanese pagers ordered by the Lebanese group Hezbollah months before the attacks. Mossad used the latest technology to hide traces of explosives in the pagers and make them undetectable during initial inspection.
