Israel intends to take revenge on Hezbollah for the attack on the Golan Heights.

Israel has said it will deal a “strong blow” to Hezbollah after it was accused of killing 12 children and teenagers in a rocket attack on a soccer field in the Golan Heights. The Israeli Foreign Ministry said the rocket that killed the children was Iranian and that Hezbollah is the only terrorist organization that possesses such rockets.

An Israeli military spokesman said an examination showed that an Iranian-made Falaq-1 missile had been launched at the football pitch. Hezbollah admitted to launching such a missile at an Israeli military headquarters. In response, the Israeli Armed Forces carried out strikes against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said: “We will hit the enemy hard.” Recall that on July 27, Hezbollah attacked a sports ground in the town of Majal Shams in the Golan Heights. As a result of this incident, at least 12 people were killed and 34 were injured.

Western media have warned of a possible all-out war between Israel and Hezbollah, prompting the US to assure Israel of its full support should the conflict with the Lebanese group intensify.
