However, it is incorrect to say that Hamas has already provided a list of hostages, as Netanyahu's office said this has not yet happened. Israel has not received a list of hostages from Hamas, and it remains unclear which of them are still alive.

Confirming information from the Jerusalem Post, negotiations are ongoing, but Hamas has not indicated which hostages are still alive. The hostage release and ceasefire efforts in Gaza are proceeding slowly and cannot be said to be going smoothly without obstacles.
