IDF units in southern Lebanon are preventing local residents from returning to their villages due to the looming terrorist threat. Lebanese are temporarily prohibited from traveling south of the Litani River. It is noteworthy that this decision was made by Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz.
According to the Israeli Prime Minister's Office, IDF soldiers arrested four Hezbollah militants, including a unit commander, who violated a restricted area in the south of the country. They were detained at the security fence. The Israeli army said it would strictly respond to any violations of the agreements.
Let us recall that the population of southern Lebanon cannot yet return to their territories as part of the first stage of the ceasefire plan. The IDF stressed its readiness to respond firmly to any incident.
