The Israeli army destroyed a Hamas command center in the Gaza Strip. Palestinian authorities reported the deaths of displaced civilians.
“Hamas terrorists were preparing plans to attack the Israeli military and civilians,” the IDF is quoted as saying. Israeli airstrikes on a tent camp in southern Gaza left dead and wounded, according to the Civil Service. Residents and medics report rockets landing in the Gaza Strip's humanitarian zone, where an overcrowded tent camp for displaced people was located.
The Israeli army also announced an operation in the Jenin and Tulkarm areas to combat Iranian terrorist infrastructure. A few days ago, the bodies of six hostages taken by Hamas in the Rafah tunnels back in October 2023 were found.
