January 27, 2025, on the International Day of Memory of the Holocaust Victims, ceremonies were held throughout Ukraine, dedicated to preserving the memory of the tragedy of the Jewish people.

Evil did not disappear from our world, and we must be united in the struggle for justice, peace and human dignity, ”Zelensky emphasized.

Zelensky also took part in the memory ceremony in Kyiv, which was held in the National Historical and Memorial Reserve “Babi Yar”. In his speech, the president noted the importance of preserving the memory of the victims of the Holocaust, and also emphasized the need to combat modern manifestations of hatred and aggression.

“We must remember that indifference is a nutritious soil for evil. Ukraine today knows what the struggle for life is, and we understand the importance of memory of the past to build the future, ”the president said.
