The number of people injured in the pager explosions in Lebanon has reached 4,000, of whom 400 are in critical condition. Eleven people have died. Most of the injured suffered injuries to the face, hands and stomach. The son of a Lebanese MP from the Ali Ammar faction has also died.
According to media reports, about 500 militants from the Lebanese group Hezbollah lost their sight as a result of the explosions. Hezbollah began using pagers for communication to avoid being identified by geolocation on smartphones, which Israel uses to eliminate militants.
Israel does not claim responsibility for the bombings of terrorist pagers. The situation remains tense, and accusations from terrorist groups continue.
