Hezbollah attempted to steal the body of a deceased Israeli Defense Forces soldier.

Members of the Egoz unit prevented the kidnapping of an IDF soldier who died in a border area of ​​southern Lebanon in a clash with Hezbollah militants. A group of special forces entered the building, which was blown up by militants who were waiting for them in ambush. After the detonation, several soldiers were injured, but the building was surrounded and the militants were destroyed.

Anti-tank missiles were fired at the building where the military was located, which led to numerous casualties among IDF soldiers. The battle took place in difficult weather conditions and thick fog, resulting in 7 deaths and up to 30 injuries. IDF drones detected the movement of a Hezbollah transport convoy and hit the Israeli Air Force.

Up to 10 Hezbollah fighters fled to the village and took refuge in the mosque. The building was destroyed by an Israeli Air Force strike. In total, up to 30 terrorists were destroyed, and the Egoz commander watched the battle in real time.
