Hezbollah militants launched at least 30 rockets from Lebanon into Israel on the night of August 12, 2024. One of the rockets detonated north of Nahariya.
The Tzeva Adom warning system was activated in the areas hit, but there were no casualties or damage.

Several rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome air defense system. Forest fires broke out in the areas hit, but overall damage was minimal. The IDF responded with artillery strikes on rocket launch areas in southern Lebanon, hitting militant bases.
