A 70-year-old pensioner woman was injured during shelling by Lebanese militants of the Haifa suburb of Kiryat Yami.
On October 8, the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah attacked the city of Haifa, located in northern Israel. Ynet reports that Hezbollah Islamists fired hundreds of rockets from southern Lebanon, primarily targeting Haifa and its environs.
As a result of the shelling of Kiryat Yami, a 70-year-old woman was injured by shrapnel wounds and was taken to hospital. There are also other victims, but the number is being determined. Several private houses in Haifa were damaged as a result of the Hezbollah attack.
The Israeli air defense system successfully intercepted some of the missiles fired by militants from Lebanon.
