Erdogan criticizes Muslim countries and calls Israel an “aggressor”

The Turkish President expressed concern about the inability of Muslim countries to adequately respond to the situation in Gaza, where Israel carried out a “massacre” with thousands of victims.

He stressed that Israel seeks to “eliminate the Palestinian presence in the West Bank and annex the region,” calling for an arms embargo and international isolation of the country. Türkiye is ready to propose measures to force Israel to stop its “aggression and occupation.”

Erdogan called on more countries to recognize the state of Palestine and join the cause of “genocide in Gaza.” He stressed that the two-state solution for the Palestinians cannot be implemented under the current Israeli government. Türkiye has already imposed trade restrictions on Israel and is ready to support “realistic measures against its aggression.”
