NAnews is an independent Israeli media project about the life of Israel, Ukraine, and the Jewish diaspora. Our mission is to publish accurate, verified, and understandable materials, strengthening readers’ trust and maintaining high professional journalism standards.
1. Values and Independence
We are guided by principles of independence, honesty, and transparency. Editorial decisions are made solely by the editorial team, independent of the opinions of advertisers, partners, or donors.
2. Accuracy and Fact-Checking
- All materials undergo fact-checking with at least two independent sources where possible.
- We verify dates, figures, names, and quotes, avoiding ambiguity and inaccuracies.
- Social media messages and user content are checked for authenticity (location, time, source).
- In case of doubt, the material is not published until confirmations are received.
3. Corrections and Updates
- Errors are corrected as quickly as possible, with “Correction” or “Update” indicated in the text.
- Significant errors are corrected with a separate notice or new publication.
- All versions of the article (on the site and in social networks) are updated synchronously.

4. Conflicts of Interest
Journalists and authors are required to disclose circumstances that may affect their objectivity (financial interests, participation in political actions, gifts, paid trips). In case of bias risk, the editorial team takes measures to maintain neutrality.
5. Separation of Editorial and Advertising
- Advertising and sponsored materials are always labeled as “Advertisement” or “Partner Material.”
- Advertising does not influence the content of editorial materials.
- Native formats are permissible only with transparent labeling.
6. Sources and Anonymity
- Direct quotes are presented accurately, without distortion.
- Anonymous sources are allowed only with high public significance of information and risk to the informant.
- The editorial team always knows the identity of the source and verifies the information’s reliability.
- News is not based solely on one anonymous source.
7. Balance and Impartiality
- When covering conflicting and sensitive topics, we provide different positions and necessary context.
- We avoid artificial equality but always show relevant viewpoints.
- It’s important not only “both sides” but also the real ratio of significance and facts.
8. Diversity
- We value a wide range of opinions and the cultural diversity of the audience.
- When preparing materials, we consider different viewpoints and strive to avoid discrimination based on nationality, religion, or social status.
- Special attention is given to the voices of the diaspora and minorities to ensure their position is heard.
9. Ethical Standards
- We work carefully with victims, hostage families, and children.
- We do not publish personal data without significant public reasons.
- Visual content with elements of violence or tragedies is used only with high significance and accompanied by a warning.
10. Copyright
- We comply with copyright laws.
- All photos, videos, and graphics are published with source attribution.
- Republication of materials is possible only with permission or within the framework of fair use citation.
11. Use of AI
- Artificial intelligence is used only for technical tasks: transcriptions, translations, draft preparation.
- Final responsibility for content always lies with human editors.
- Generative images and audio capable of misleading are not used in news publications.
12. Comments and User Content
- We support respectful communication and discussion.
- Comments with insults, hate speech, spam, and law violations are removed.
13. Ownership and Funding
The project is funded by participants and voluntary donations.
The editorial team maintains independence and does not accept conditions that could affect editorial policy or content.
14. Localization
All language versions of the site contain “About Us,” “Contacts,” and “Editorial Policy” pages. Regardless of language, we adhere to the same principles of transparency and responsibility.
